Then we decide the some level of significance or alpha value for this test. Most of the time, we take a level of significance as the 5% or 0.05. Next step in the testing of hypothesis is the finding the test statistic value. We use the test statistic formula for the calculation of the test statistic value. Selection of the proper test for the claim is very important in the testing of hypothesis.
